ENVECON 2015: Applied Environmental Economics Conference

Place: The Royal Society, London

The UK Network of Environmental Economists (UKNEE) announces that envecon 2015: Applied Environmental Economics Conference will take place on Friday 13th March 2015, at The Royal Society in London.

The call for abstracts for the conference is now open and presents some priorities UKNEE have identified in the field, the conference is open to all papers demonstrating how environmental economics is applied in practice.

The final agenda is seen to include papers on the TOOLS OF ENVIRONMENTAL ECONOMICS:

Themes A – C can be in any sector so long as they show how these tools are applied in practice. Some ECONOMIC SECTORS have been more of a focus for greening the economy and examples of how environmental economics is used in this process will be interesting. These sectors include the following – however, we will consider papers about other sectors too:

G. Transportation

H. Agriculture and forestry

I. Marine environment

Papers on some HORIZONTAL THEMES are also welcome including, but not limited to:

J. Ecosystem services approach

K. Natural Capital

L. Private sector involvement – remodelling business

M. Behavioural economics
