BESAFE General Assembly and Project meeting: setting future objectives
15.04.2014

The BESAFE General Assembly and Project meeting took place between 31 March and 2 April, 2014. The meeting brought partners together to discuss the next important steps towards the creation of the final argument database and supporting web toolkit.

BESAFE project aims to produce a stakeholder-oriented, web-based, public access database with associated toolkit that will provide an easy to use framework to give guidance on the effectiveness of alternative biodiversity arguments and protection strategies in various contexts. The project will also develop an associated user friendly toolkit to provide easy access to the information.

A timeframe was created for the completion of the case studies to be the basis of the Second Stakeholder Workshop due in May, 2014. The integrated results from this workshop will build on the preliminary framework released in 2013 towards building a sound classification of arguments for the completion of the final database.
